C&F officer Md. Jasim Uddin and Security Guard Md. Mizanur Rahman died in a separate road accident in Sitakunda, Chittagong only 30 minutes apart.
These accidents took place in front of KDS Logistics in Pakka Masjid area of Sonaichari Union on Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Thursday night. The deceased belongs to Jasim’s house in Khulna district and Mizanur Rahman is the son of Nurul Amin Prakash Bhochan of Ambia house in Pakka Masjid area of Sonaichari union.
It is known that while crossing the road, a truck headed towards Chittagong hit the C&F official. Jasim Uddin was killed on the spot. He lived in Halishahar area for a long time due to his job. Just 30 minutes later, the security guard of KDS Logistics was hit by a microbus while crossing the road at the same place. Mizanur Rahman was killed. Khokon Ghosh, OC of Bar Aulia Highway Police Station, said that two people were killed in a road accident at the same place in just 30 minutes. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
