Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the three match T20 series against India. After 14 months, Mehdi Hasan Miraj returned to Bangladesh’s T20 team. Spinner Rakibul Hasan and opener Parvez Hossain Imon have also been called up to the team. Among them, off-spinner Rakibul has been called up to the national team for the first time.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has given a 15-member squad for this three-match series on Sunday (September 29) in a press release. Miraj last played for the national team in T20 against Afghanistan in July 2023. Now he got another chance.
Attacking opener Parvez Hossain Imon has played 3 T20s for the national team. He led the last team against India in the Asian Games. Apart from this, the three T20s played by left-arm spinner Rakibul are all three in the Asian Games.
Bangladesh will play T20 for the first time after the World Cup. Soumya Sarkar was dropped from the team for that tournament, her place was taken by opener Parvez Hossain Imon.
