Bangladeshi-Origin Boxer Shines in Bangkok

Bangladeshi-origin English boxer Ruqsana Begum has won the WBU world female flyweight title. The match took place last week at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Victory Against Kadesara Jadpakdee

Ruqsana won the title by defeating Kadesara Jadpakdee in a tough fight. This big win added another important achievement to her boxing career.

First Woman to Win Titles in Two Combat Sports

According to a press release from Bangkok, Ruqsana has now become the first woman to win world titles in two different combat ring sports.
She had earlier won a world title in Muay Thai (kickboxing) back in 2016.

Unbeaten for Three Years

The 41-year-old boxer, also known as the “Warrior Princess”, has remained unbeaten in the boxing ring for the last three years.
She has now won her last six matches.
