According to a press announcement, a trade delegation from the Kingdom of the Netherlands is scheduled to travel to Bangladesh from February 10–13. Eighteen Dutch enterprises, including representatives from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, clothing labels, impact investors, and businesses developing verifiable solutions to support circular fashion, will be part of the Netherlands Circular Textile Trade Mission.
The purpose of their tour is to encourage business-to-business cooperation with Bangladesh’s apparel and textile industry. With assistance and cooperation from Export Partner Clean & Unique, the BGMEA, and the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange, the Kingdom of the Netherlands Embassy in Bangladesh and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) are organizing the trade mission.
This is the Netherlands Circular Textile program’s first trade mission to Bangladesh. An important step in closing technological gaps and developing solid economic ties is the trade mission between Bangladeshi manufacturers and enterprises situated in the Netherlands. The delegation will attend the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange’s 6th Sustainable Apparel Forum 2025 while on the mission.
