A teenage boy, an SSC candidate, died after falling from the roof of a building while celebrating the Christian New Year with his friends in the Baraigram upazila of Natore. The incident occurred around 12:30 AM on Tuesday night in the Kalikapur area of Bonpara municipal town.
Ishtiaq was a student at Bonpara St. Joseph’s School and College and was preparing for his upcoming SSC exams. He was with his friends on the roof when he accidentally fell from the third floor. He was quickly taken to a private hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
Ishtiaq’s father, Iqbal Hossain, said his son was a good student, and he never imagined such a tragedy. No one has formally notified the family in writing about the accident. If anyone has any complaints, an investigation will be conducted and legal action will be taken.
