Coffin Prepared According to His Final Wish
A “very simple coffin” has been prepared for Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, in line with his own expressed wish. According to relevant sources, efforts have been taken to fulfill what Hadi wanted during his lifetime.
Sharif Osman Hadi passed away while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital.
Statement Shared on Social Media
On Friday (19 December), Inqilab Mancha shared a Facebook status recalling Hadi’s words before his death. In the statement, Hadi was quoted as saying:
“হারাম খাইয়া আমি এতো মোটাতাজা হই নাই, যাতে আমার স্পেশাল কফিন লাগবে! খুবই সাধারণ একটা কফিনে হালাল র-ক্তের হাসিমুখে আমি আমার আল্লাহর কাছে হাজির হবো।”
Translation: “I did not become this strong by consuming anything unlawful, so I do not need a special coffin. In a very simple coffin, with a smile and halal blood, I will present myself before my Allah.”
This statement spread widely on social media and sparked extensive discussion.

Body Being Flown to Dhaka
Earlier, the organization informed that Sharif Osman Hadi’s body is being brought to Dhaka from Singapore on Friday (19 December). The body is scheduled to depart Singapore at 3:50 pm local time on a commercial flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
The flight is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 6:05 pm.
Confirmation from Medical Authorities
Before that, on Thursday night, Dr. Md. Abdul Ahad, a neurosurgery physician at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Member Secretary of the National Health Alliance, confirmed that the body was being sent to Bangladesh.
He said all necessary formalities had been completed to repatriate the body.
Janaza and Burial Arrangements
According to family sources, after the body arrives in Dhaka and formalities are completed, Hadi’s janaza will be held on Saturday. He will then be buried at the family graveyard.

Colleagues and followers say that preparing the “very simple coffin” reflects Sharif Osman Hadi’s beliefs, values, and philosophy of life, which emphasized simplicity and sincerity.
