Bangladesh Army and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) will work jointly to guarantee the security of the city and to solve the traffic jam, said the administrator of the organization, Mohammad Ejaz. He made this announcement during a gracious meeting with Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman on Wednesday (February 26). This meeting was held at the Army Headquarters.
Throughout this meeting, the Army Chief and the DNCC Administration conversed about the collaboration between the Bangladesh Army and DNCC to cooperatively develop infrastructure in the areas under DNCC. The DNCC Administration said that the Army has already started infrastructure development work in the newly formed 18 wards of DNCC. In the future, DNCC will persist in its infrastructure activity with the help of the Army’s skilled logistical and technical support. Moreover, they work together on AI-based traffic management to ensure data center management of DNCC, ensure city security and safety, and decongest traffic.
At this time, the army chief urged the city corporation to take steps to provide training and human resource development to improve the skills of the youth of the city. The army chief appreciated the research work of the DNCC administrator on the strategic role of Bangladesh’s rivers in the war of liberation.
