Bangladesh ‘A’ team eased their way to the final by defeating India ‘A’ team in a thrilling Super Over match in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament. After both teams scored 194 runs in the stipulated overs, the match went to the Super Over, where the red-green team secured victory with a dramatic wide.

Bangladesh ‘A’ batting: Sohan-Meherb’s dominant innings

After losing the toss, Zisan Alam came out to bat first and scored 26 runs. Then Habibur Rahman Sohan took charge of the innings. Sohan, who had made 65 runs in a brilliant batting performance, was caught out.

In the end, Meherb took their innings further. Bangladesh reached the big target of 194 runs after losing 6 wickets for his unbeaten 48 runs.

India’s reply: Fighting under pressure, but stopping at a draw

Super Over’s breathless drama: Two balls, two outs, then Bangladesh win

Bangladeshi bowler Ripon Mondal, who came out to bat first in the Super Over, dismissed both Indian batters in the first two balls, which turned the match around. Bangladesh needed only 1 run to win. Yasir Ali, who came out to bat, took a catch with the first ball. However, the Indian bowler could not handle the pressure.
