Bangladesh Corporate Tax Return Deadline Extended Until April 30

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) recently issued an order regarding this extension. Typically, corporate taxpayers can file their returns from July 1 to January 15. However, this year, the deadline has been extended twice. Currently, an average of 50,000 companies file tax returns each year. These companies report their annual income and expenses and pay corporate taxes accordingly. Tomorrow was supposed to be the last day for corporate taxpayers to file their annual income tax returns. However, the deadline has been extended by another month and a half. Companies will now be able to submit their returns until April 30.

This year, a total of 3,973,757 taxpayers filed their returns, and the NBR collected only 3,144 crore taka in taxes.
