Bangladesh Opens Its First Cancer Treatment and Rehabilitation

A groundbreaking initiative, the Furry Friends Foundation has launched the country’s first-ever cancer treatment and rehabilitation center for dogs, located in Birulia, Savar. This medical facility stands out as the only center in Bangladesh dedicated exclusively to treating dogs suffering from cancer.

Most of the dogs currently receiving care at this center were previously street-dwelling animals who had never before received any form of medical treatment. Now, thanks to this initiative, they are receiving modern, specialized care aimed at improving their health and quality of life.
