Bangladeshi Engineer Hasan Ul Banna Joins Intel

Bangladeshi engineer GM Hasan Ul Banna has secured a highly sought-after position at Intel Corporation, one of the world’s leading technology companies. He has been hired as a Module Development Engineer at the Oregon office of the company in the United States and will be engaged in logic transistor development.

Banna’s joining is coupled with a generous salary package. His annual salary amounts to approximately BDT 18.3 million (1.83 crore), while additional bonuses double his total compensation to approximately BDT 24.2 million (2.42 crore). In addition to financial compensation, he will receive health insurance, children’s education allowance, as well as scholarship opportunities for himself.

Banna graduated with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from East West University in Bangladesh before pursuing further studies abroad. He later received a master’s degree from South Korea’s Yeungnam University and subsequently completed his PhD at Michigan State University within a period of three and a half years. Intel Corporation, the global leader in semiconductor technology, is famous for its capacity to recruit the best engineering brains in the world. Banna’s achievement is a benchmark for Bangladeshi professionals employed in the global technology sector.
