Barrister Andaleeve Rahman, Chairman of Bangladesh National Party, made a subtle yet pointed remark in a recent Facebook post that appears to reference Adviser Asif Rahman’s late-night food habits.

In his post, Andaleeve wrote:

“এক সময় ভাত খুজতো ক্যান্টিনে
এখন হাঁস খুজে ওয়েস্টিনে”

Translation:
“Once they searched for rice in the canteen,
Now they search for duck at the Westin.”

This comment comes shortly after Asif Rahman, in a public statement, shared his own late-night routine:

“Sometimes when I finish work late at night, sometimes even by dawn, there is no one at home to serve food. At that time, I usually go to Neela Market on 300 Feet Road. They have very good duck meat there, and I go with 4-5 people. If it’s too late and the place is closed, then we go to the Westin.”
