The “Best of Bangladesh in Europe” conference and exhibition is set to take place once again in the Netherlands, showcasing the success stories and potential of Bangladesh’s industrial sector while facilitating connections with European buyer organizations. The event will be held on April 17 at the iconic Beurs van Berlage venue in Amsterdam. Around 50 companies from eight industrial sectors in Bangladesh will participate, presenting their innovative products, sustainable practices, and transparency initiatives. Organizers expect over 1,500 visitors to attend.
The event is being organized for the second time by Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) with support from PDS Limited, City Bank, and KDS Group. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) are collaborating in organizing the conference and exhibition, according to a press release from BAE. Organizers stated that the two-day event will feature an opening ceremony, panel discussions, and a fashion show, providing a comprehensive insight into Bangladesh’s industries and its evolving business-friendly environment.
Prominent industrial companies participating in this year’s exhibition include FourA Yarn Dyeing, Brain Station 23, Bigight Group, Bondstein Technologies, City Bank, Centortex, Cyclo, Delmas Apparels, Designer Fashion, Fakir Group, KDS Group, Knit Asia, Leatherina, Mapped in Bangladesh, Nourish Feeds, Noise Jeans, Paddocks Jeans, Pacific Jeans Limited, PDS, Pacific Knitex, Paragon Group, Reverse Resources, Rising Group, Shin Shin Apparels, Shangu Tex, Turj Tex, and Tarango, among others.

Mustafiz Uddin, founder and CEO of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange, stated that “Best of Bangladesh in Europe” has created an excellent opportunity for direct engagement between industry entrepreneurs, policymakers, and foreign buyer organizations. Through exhibitions, networking sessions, and panel discussions, the event aims to position Bangladesh as a prime investment destination.
He further noted that this initiative will allow European consumers to discover high-quality Bangladeshi products and inspiring business success stories. The first edition of “Best of Bangladesh” was held on September 4 to 5, 2023, at the Gashouder WesterGas venue in Amsterdam. That event featured 34 companies from the apparel and textiles, processed agricultural products, handicrafts, and information technology sectors.
