On the morning of June 27, 2025, a flight from Biman Bangladesh Airlines faced an engine problem shortly after take-off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

Flight Details and Incident

The destination of the flight, BG 584, was Singapore. There were seven crew members and 154 passengers on board the Boeing 737-800.

When the pilots realised an engine problem, the aircraft had risen to around 2,500 feet after taking off at 8:38 AM. To ensure everyone’s safety, the pilot decided to turn back to Dhaka.

Safe Return and Landing

At 8:59 AM, the aircraft returned to Shahjalal Airport without incident. It was confirmed that every passenger and crew member was safe and unhurt.

Airport authorities assured the public that the situation was handled carefully and calmly, with no injuries.
