Dulu’s Remarks at Natore Event
BNP central leader and former Deputy Minister Advocate Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu said,
“গত ১৫ বছর যারা ছাত্রলীগ করেছে, তারাই এখন ছাত্রশিবির হয়ে গেছে। বিএনপি ও ছাত্রদল তো এই রাজনীতি করেনি, আগামীতেও করবে না। কেননা ছাত্রদল অন্যায়ের সঙ্গে আপস করে না।”
Translation: “Those who led Chatra League over the last 15 years have now become Chatra Shibir. BNP and Chhatra Dal have never indulged in this politics, and will not do so in the future because Chhatra Dal does not compromise with injustice.”
He made these remarks on 16 September 2025, during a program at the BNP district office in Alaipur, Natore.
Call for Violence-Free Education
Dulu emphasized the importance of safe and productive educational spaces, saying:
“We want educational institutions to remain free from violence in the future. Students should take up books and pens and play a leading role in building the country.”
Criticism of Government’s Education Policies
Dulu sharply criticized the current government’s 15-year rule, claiming it damaged the education system:
“শেখ হাসিনা গত ১৫ বছরে শিক্ষাব্যবস্থাকে ধ্বংস করেছে। কেননা একটি জাতিকে ধ্বংস করতে হলে শিক্ষাব্যবস্থাকে আগে ধ্বংস করতে হয়। স্বাধীনতাযুদ্ধের সময়ও পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনীরা এ দেশের শিক্ষাবিদদের হত্যা করেছিল। বাংলাদেশ যখন মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়াবে, তখন ভারতীয় ইন্ধনে এ দেশের শিক্ষাব্যবস্থাকে ধ্বংস করা হলো।”
Translation: “Sheikh Hasina has destroyed the education system in the past 15 years. To destroy a nation, you must first destroy its education system. Even during the Liberation War, Pakistani forces killed the country’s educators. Now, with foreign support, the education system is being ruined again.”

He also highlighted BNP’s previous efforts:
“বিএনপি বাংলাদেশে নকলমুক্ত শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা কায়েম করেছিল। নকল করে পাস করতে হবে—এটা ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল। আধুনিক শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা আনতে বিএনপি সরকার কাজ করে গেছে।”
Translation: “BNP established a cheating-free education system in Bangladesh. It eliminated the idea of passing exams by cheating. The BNP government worked to bring a modern education system.”

Dulu congratulated Sheikh Rifad Mahmud, a Chhatra Dal member, for winning the vice president post of the Commonwealth Student Association:
“Sheikh Rifad Mahmud has been elected VP of the Commonwealth Student Association. Rifad is a member of Chhatra Dal. He is not only a pride for Natore but for the entire BNP family in Bangladesh. Natore district BNP always stands by Rifad Mahmud.”
