Dr. Mahdi Amin, adviser to BNP’s acting chairman Tareq Rahman, stated that BNP is always ready to extend full cooperation to the interim government in combating terrorism. “There can be no compromise when it comes to public safety and the protection of any citizen,” he wrote in a verified Facebook post on Friday (July 11).
He emphasized that “terrorists have no ideology or politics” and called for strict enforcement of the law, including arrest and maximum punishment where necessary.

Highlighting BNP’s stance, he wrote, “It is our principle to rise above political identity and take exemplary organizational action against every criminal.”
Dr. Amin also stressed the need for a firm state response, restoration of legal discipline, and the establishment of social stability.
