CSE student Soumik Hasan Shranto from Brac University secured the Best Entrepreneur title at the 9th National Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) that EO Bangladesh organized. Through DuboTech he received Tk 5 Lakh prize money together with opportunities to represent Bangladesh at the international level.
DuboTech Digital Limited has Soumik Hasan Shranto as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) under its leadership by Brac University alumni. The national spotlight shines on DuboTech because it applies robotics together with underwater technology to solve domestic issues. The business received national publicity when it participated in “Shark Tank Bangladesh” to display its position as an innovative leader in deep-tech advances.
Soumik will participate in the competitive GSEA Global quarter-finals on March 10, 2025 in Nagpur India together with other participants from India Sri Lanka and Nepal.
Student entrepreneurships found celebration through an occasion where young businessmen received honors for their ability to balance education and business ownership. The event hosted prominent guests at the ceremony including Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed who serves as Adviser to the Ministry of Finance.
