King Charles Shares His Excitement
The King of the United Kingdom, King Charles III, has said that he is eagerly waiting to meet Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He made this statement on Thursday (5th June) during the opening ceremony of an international seminar in Brick Lane, East London — an area known for its large Bangladeshi community.
Event Organized by South by Southwest
The seminar and cultural festival were organized by South by Southwest. King Charles attended the opening of the event and interacted with the attendees.

Conversation with British Bangladeshi Organizer
During the event, King Charles had a conversation with Ayesha Qureshi, the only British Bangladeshi member of the organizing committee. While speaking with her, he mentioned his close relationship with Dr. Yunus, who is the chief advisor for the event. The King said he is looking forward to meeting Dr. Yunus very soon.
Apology for Missing Visit to Bangladesh
King Charles also expressed regret for not being able to visit Bangladesh yet, despite promising to do so earlier.
Visit to Local Church and Historic Market
After attending the seminar, the King visited a local church and took a tour of the historic Spitalfields Market, which is well known in East London.
