In response to Ramna DC Masud Alam’s allegation that engineering students carried “hexa knives” during their clash with police, the protesting students have strongly denied the claim and turned it into a mockery.

As a symbolic protest, they showcased ordinary study tools like scales and drawing instruments, sarcastically presenting them as the so-called “weapons.” Students also carried placards that read:
“দেইখা যা মাসুদ কাকু, এই যে তোর হেক্সা চাকু”
Translation: “Look, Masud Uncle, here is your hexa knife.”
The students emphasized that their movement is entirely peaceful and focused on their rightful demands. They accused the police of spreading false narratives to discredit their protest.
The symbolic display quickly went viral on social media, where many criticized the authorities for attempting to misrepresent the students’ actions.
