Police have arrested content creator Tawhid Afridi. He was arrested from a house in Banglabazar, Barisal city, on Sunday night and later sent to Dhaka. Earlier, his father Nasir Uddin Sathi was arrested on August 17 in a case filed against him for attacking and killing protesters during the anti-discrimination movement. The case was filed on August 30 last year at Jatrabari Police Station, which is currently being investigated by the CID. The main accused in the case is former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the second accused is former minister Obaidul Quader, and the third accused is former IGP Abdullah Al Mamun. Tawhid Afridi is accused number 11 in the case and his father is accused number 22. A total of 25 people have been accused in this case, in addition to 150 unknown people.
Arrest drive from Barisal
Police have arrested content creator Tawhid Afridi. He was arrested from a house next to a diagnostic center in Banglabazar area of Barisal city on Sunday evening. Kotayali Model Police Station OC Mizanur Rahman confirmed that he was later sent to Dhaka.
His father was arrested earlier
Earlier, on August 17, police arrested Tawhid Afridi’s father Md. Nasir Uddin Sathi in a case filed on charges of attacking and killing protesters during the anti-discrimination movement.

Background of the case
It is learned that the case was filed at Jatrabari Police Station on August 30 last year. The case is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police.
List of accused
Dictator Sheikh Hasina has been named the main accused in the case. The list of accused:
- Former Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader is at number 2
- Former IGP Abdullah Al Mamun is at number 3
- Content creator Tawhid Afridi is at number 11
- Accused number 22 is his father Nasir Uddin Sathi
A total of 25 people have been accused in the case, and an unknown 150 others have also been accused.
