Jhenaidah District Branch of Islamic Students Movement organized a protest march and rally to protest against the taunting of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in India. The program was held on Sunday (September 29) afternoon to demand severe punishment for the abusers.
On this day, the protestors gathered at the old DC court premises in Jhenaidah. Later, the protestors went to Payra Chatwar, the heart of the city after circling some of the main roads of the city.
At that time, the speakers complained that dictator Sheikh Hasina fled to India and spread Islamic hatred in Bangladesh. He is trying to create communal differences through various leaders of India.
Speakers at the rally demanded exemplary punishment for those who insulted the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recently in India. They also requested formal protest from Bangladesh government on the same issue.
