Metro Rail Closed for Eid
The metro rail in Dhaka will be closed for one day because of the Eid-ul-Azha holiday. The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced that the metro trains will not run on Friday, June 7th, which is the day of Eid.

Metro Rail Reopens on Saturday
The day after Eid, on Saturday, June 8th, the metro rail will start running again from 8:00 AM. Trains will come every 30 minutes.
Regular Holiday Schedule Resumes on Sunday
From Sunday, June 9th, the metro trains will follow the regular timetable for public holidays.
