Dhaka Polytechnic Institute became the centre of a heated protest today as students and leaders staged a demonstration under the slogan
“একটা একটা বুয়েট ধর, ডিপ্লোমাতে ভর্তি কর”
Translation: “Catch BUETIAN, enrols them in DIPLOMA”.
After a press conference earlier in the day, protesters tied red cloths on their heads and gathered in front of the main campus as part of the “লাল অঙ্গীকার” (Red Commitment) program.

Leaders from the Bangladesh Diploma Agriculturists Council and Bangladesh Agriculture Diploma Students’ Council joined the protest organized by Karigori Chhatra Andolon, Bangladesh.
They strongly condemned the three-point demands raised against diploma degree holders, calling them unjust. At the same time, they urged all diploma graduates across the country to stay united and fight for their legitimate rights.
