Chief Advisor’s Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) Message
In a message delivered on Friday (September 5) on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said,
মহানবী হজরত মুহাম্মদ (সা.) -এর অনুপম জীবনাদর্শ, সর্বজনীন শিক্ষা ও সুন্নাহর অনুসরণ আজকের এ দ্বন্দ্ব-সংঘাতময় বিশ্বে শান্তি, ন্যায় এবং কল্যাণ নিশ্চিত করতে পারে।
Translation: Following the unique life philosophy, universal teachings, and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) can ensure peace, justice, and well-being in today’s conflict-ridden world.
In a message delivered on Friday (September 5) on the occasion of the ‘Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH),’ he said,
ধর্মীয় ও পার্থিব জীবনে মহানবী হজরত মুহাম্মদ (সা.)-এর সুমহান আদর্শ ও সুন্নাহ বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য উৎকৃষ্টতম অনুসরণীয় ও অনুকরণীয় এবং এর মধ্যেই মুসলমানদের জন্য অফুরন্ত কল্যাণ, সফলতা ও শান্তি নিহিত রয়েছে।
Translation: The great ideals and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in religious and worldly life are the best examples for the world to follow and emulate, and within them lies endless goodness, success, and peace for Muslims.

The Teachings and Illumination of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Dr. Yunus said that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was ‘Rahmatul-il-Alamin’, a mercy to the entire universe. Quoting the Quran, he stated,
‘হে নবী, আমি আপনাকে সমগ্র বিশ্বজগতের জন্য কেবল রহমতরূপে প্রেরণ করেছি’ (সূরা আল-আম্বিয়া, আয়াত : ১০৭)। হজরত মুহাম্মদ (সা.) দুনিয়ায় এসেছিলেন ‘সিরাজাম মুনিরা’ অর্থাৎ আলোকোজ্জ্বল প্রদীপরূপে। সব ধরনের কুসংস্কার, অন্যায়, অবিচার, দাসত্ব ও পাপাচারের অন্ধকার থেকে মানুষকে মুক্তি ও আলোর পথ দেখাতে শান্তি, প্রগতি ও কল্যাণের বার্তা নিয়ে এসেছিলেন তিনি।
Translation: ‘O Prophet, We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds’ (Surah Al-Anbiya, verse: 107). Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) came to the world as a ‘Sirajam Munira’, i.e. a shining lamp. He came with the message of peace, progress and goodness to liberate people from the darkness of all kinds of superstition, injustice, slavery and sin and show them the path of light.
The Chief Advisor said,
আল্লাহর প্রতি অসীম আনুগত্য ও ভালোবাসা, অনুপম চারিত্রিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, অপরিমেয় দয়া ও মহৎ গুণের জন্য পবিত্র কুরআনে মহানবী হজরত মুহাম্মদ (সা.) -এর জীবনকে বলা হয়েছে ‘উসওয়াতুন হাসানাহ্’ অর্থাৎ সুন্দরতম আদর্শ। তিনি বিশ্ব মানবতার জন্য যে অনিন্দ্য সুন্দর অনুসরণীয় শিক্ষা ও আদর্শ রেখে গেছেন, তা প্রতিটি যুগ ও শতাব্দীর মানুষের জন্য মুক্তির দিশারী হিসেবে পথ দেখাবে।
Translation: Due to his infinite loyalty and love for Allah, incomparable character traits, immeasurable kindness and great qualities, the life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) has been called ‘Uswatun Hasanah’, meaning the most beautiful ideal, in the Holy Quran. The impeccable and beautiful teachings and ideals that he left for the world humanity will show the way to liberation for the people of every era and century.
Prayer for peace and unity of the Ummah
At the end of the message, the Chief Advisor prayed:
- May the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) bring peace and prosperity to all.
- May the unity of the entire Muslim Ummah be further consolidated.
- Let us attain overall well-being and salvation in this life and the hereafter by following the great ideals of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
