The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) continued its winning streak for the seventh session in a row today, 23 July. The DSEX index, which is the key benchmark of the DSE, rose by 93 points, marking a 1.77% increase and ending the day at 5,363 points.
Turnover Hits 10-Month High
Not just the index, the daily turnover also increased significantly by 37%, reaching Tk986.58 crore. This is the highest turnover the DSE has seen in over 10 months, showing a surge in trading activity and investor interest.

Top Performer & Turnover Leader

BAT Bangladesh was the highest in turnover for the day, meaning it had the most traded value.

Uttara Finance became the top gainer, registering the highest price jump.
However, not all stocks performed well. CAPM BDBL Mutual Fund ended the day as the worst performer.
DS30 Index Also Sees Strong Growth
The DS30 index, which tracks 30 major companies or blue-chip stocks, also made a solid gain of 2.77%, closing at 2,086 points.
