An earthquake has been felt in the capital Dhaka and several other parts of the country.

Preliminary official readings estimated the magnitude at 5.2, while many Android devices detected it slightly lower at 4.9, which is common for early automated alerts. The epicenter was reported near the Ghorashal area.

The tremor was experienced on Friday (21 November) between 10:38 AM and 10:39 AM.
