On the morning of 11/12/2024, Sajida Islam, an eighth-grade student, went missing from the Bibirhat Bus Station area in Fatikchhari Upazila. Sajida, a student of Fatikchhari Girls’ Pilot High School, disappeared while on her way to take an exam at the Girls’ School. The family fears that she may have been abducted.
Family’s Allegation
For the past week, Sajida had been informing her family that three unknown Chakma youths were repeatedly harassing her. The family suspects that these individuals might be involved in her disappearance.
