Attack Part of a Deep and Planned Conspiracy

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has said that the attack on Inqilab Mancha leader Sharif Osman Hadi was not random, but a carefully planned conspiracy backed by powerful forces.

Speaking at a meeting held on Saturday (December 13) at the state guest house Jamuna, he said the attackers are trying to destabilize the country ahead of the election.

Trained Shooters Brought to the Field

The Chief Adviser warned that the conspirators are now operating in an organized manner, using trained shooters to show their strength. He told,

Translation: “The conspirators have expanded their network and have entered the field with trained shooters.”

He said the attack was symbolic and meant to create fear and derail the election process.

Attempt to Sabotage the Election

According to Professor Yunus, the ultimate objective of the attackers is to prevent the election from taking place. Said,

Translation: “Their intention is to ensure that the election does not take place.”

He stressed that such threats must be faced collectively, not by the government alone.

Call for Unity and Political Restraint

The Chief Adviser urged all political forces to remain united and avoid turning political disagreements into hostility.

Translation: “Political differences will remain, but we must move away from the culture of treating others as enemies or attacking them.”

He also warned that election-time tensions must be kept within control.

BNP: Stay United Against Conspirators

BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed emphasized the need for unity and stronger action against illegal arms and conspirators. He said,

Translation: “We must raise our voices together against the conspiracy.”

He said political blame games should stop in the national interest.

Jamaat: Internal Blame Gave Opponents an Advantage

Jamaat leader Ghulam Parwar said internal accusations among political parties have helped hostile forces. Parwar said,

Translation: “Why should we say things that divide the nation?”

He called for renewed unity beyond narrow party interests.

NCP: Organized Campaign Against July Uprising

NCP chief Nahid Islam warned that a coordinated effort is underway to discredit the July mass uprising. Said,

Translation: “A well-organized campaign is being carried out against July.”

He said false narratives are being spread through media and social platforms, and future governments may also suffer from these actions.
