Faisal Islam, the main accused in the shooting of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi, fleeing to India could be a publicity stunt. His final location is not yet confirmed, but intelligence agencies are working on the matter in various ways, stated Additional IGP Khandaker Rafiqul Islam.
He made these remarks during an emergency press conference at the Ministry of Home Affairs today, Sunday (December 21).

Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner of DB, Shafiqul Islam, stated that the suspect’s identity was confirmed at 9:00 PM on the day of the incident. Following this, an operation was launched to arrest him. So far, 10 individuals have been arrested in connection with Hadi’s murder. He also informed that evidence, including a motorcycle and firearms, has been recovered.
On the other hand, Abdul Hannan, who was arrested as the suspected owner of the motorcycle used in the shooting of Hadi, has been granted bail. Additionally, Sibion Dio and Sanjay Chisim, suspected of assisting Faisal in fleeing the country, have been placed on a further 5-day remand.
