Fire Erupts in Mirpur’s Garments and Chemical Warehouse

A fire broke out at a garments and chemical warehouse in the Rupnagar area of Mirpur, Dhaka, on Tuesday morning. Fire Service officials confirmed that five units are currently working to control the blaze.

Fire Started Around 11:40 AM

According to Fire Service’s Media Cell Acting Officer, Talha Bin Jashim, the fire started at around 11:40 AM. The Fire Service received the report and immediately dispatched their teams.

Firefighters Reached the Spot Quickly

After receiving the information, the Fire Service teams reached the spot at 11:56 AM and began their operation to control the fire. So far, five units are working at the scene, and three more are on their way.

Cause and Damage Yet to Be Known

The Fire Service has not yet confirmed the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage. Authorities are continuing efforts to bring the situation under control and assess the losses once the fire is extinguished.
