A fire broke out on the 6th floor of a multi-story building in Kalshi, Mirpur-11, in the capital city. Four fire service units are currently working to bring the fire under control. The Fire Service media cell confirmed the incident and added that the building’s ground floor houses a community center.

According to reports, the Fire Service received the alert at 10:12 PM. The first unit reached the scene at 11:27 PM. Currently, four units are actively working to control the fire. At this time, the cause of the fire and any casualties remain unknown. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and have advised nearby residents to stay in safe areas.
Fire officials also reported that people from other floors of the building are being safely evacuated.
