A fire has broken out at the Sundarban Square Market in Gulistan, Dhaka. A total of 11 units from the Fire Service are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
According to the Fire Service, the fire was reported around 10:00 AM on Saturday (August 2). Talha Bin Jasim, the Acting Officer of the Fire Service Media Cell, stated that the fire originated on the 5th floor of the Sundarban Square Market.

The first unit reached the scene at 10:03 AM and began firefighting efforts. Later, 10 more units joined the operation, bringing the total to 11 units currently working to control the fire.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be determined, said the Fire Service official.
