A Viral Outburst Turns into a Blessing

Sarowar Hossain Rabbi from Kishoreganj’s Gobindapur union made headlines earlier this month when he angrily rented a loudspeaker and insulted locals for not helping him get a Tk 1 lakh loan to go abroad. The video quickly went viral, drawing national attention.

Now, Rabbi’s dream of going abroad is finally coming true. The Probashi Kallyan Bank has stepped in to help him with a Tk 2 lakh loan, ensuring he can travel to Saudi Arabia.

From Despair to Hope

Rabbi, born into a poor family, had long dreamed of working abroad to support his family. Though he managed to secure a visa for Saudi Arabia, his journey nearly collapsed at the last moment due to a lack of funds.

He reached out to several people and even NGOs for support, but no one helped. Out of frustration, he rented a microphone for Tk 500 and scolded the villagers on October 16. Later, he uploaded the video to Facebook, and it instantly went viral.

Rabbi’s Reaction: A Twist of Fate

Translation: “Twice I missed the chance to go abroad due to lack of money. This time, in anger and frustration, I rented a mic and shouted at people. I never imagined that video would change my life forever.”

Rabbi said that after the viral news spread, the Probashi Kallyan Bank’s Kishoreganj branch contacted him. After submitting the necessary documents, he received Tk 2 lakh on October 23.

Translation: “Now I have my ticket in hand. Inshallah, I’m flying to Saudi Arabia on October 30. Please keep me in your prayers.”

Probashi Kallyan Bank Steps In

The bank’s general manager, Mozammel Haque, confirmed the support:

Translation: “After the viral news, we contacted Rabbi and verified his case. According to our policy, we provided him a Tk 2 lakh loan.”

He also encouraged others facing similar challenges to contact the bank for help.

A New Chapter Begins

What began as a moment of frustration turned into a life-changing event. Sarowar Hossain Rabbi, once mocked for his public outburst, is now preparing to begin a new life abroad — proving that sometimes, even anger can lead to opportunity.
