Germany’s Hellmann Worldwide Logistics expands its operations in Bangladesh through a strategic acquisition of 40% shares in Container Transportation Services Ltd (CTSL) which operates as Container Transportation Services Ltd (CTSL) owned by Summit Alliance Port Ltd (SAPL). The acquisition reveals Hellmann’s dedication to develop its South Asian logistics presence through this strategic market.
Through the purchase of 3.33 lakh new shares of CTSL Hellmann Worldwide Logistics will invest BDT 2.21 crore at BDT 56.50 per share. CTSL seeks to improve its logistics services through this partnership which enhances Hellmann’s market position in Bangladesh.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange indicates that Summit Alliance Port Ltd (SAPL) showcases solid performance through growing profits and increasing stock market values. Experts predict that CTSL can expand its operations by fulfilling the growing demand for efficient container transportation services in the country.
