The Bangladesh government will bear the full treatment costs of all victims injured in the Milestone school plane crash in Uttara, Dhaka, including care at private and public hospitals.

In a significant move of support and compassion, the government of Bangladesh has announced that it will bear all medical expenses for the victims injured in the tragic Air Force plane crash at the Milestone school campus in Uttara, Dhaka.

The directive, issued under the guidance of the adviser to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, mandates that all private hospitals treating the injured must provide medical care completely free of charge.

In cases where private healthcare facilities are unable to provide sufficient treatment, they have been instructed to refer patients to specialized public institutions like the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery or Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The announcement was formally made by Senior Information Officer Mohammad Shahadat Hossain of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

This government-backed initiative ensures that no patient or their family has to bear the financial burden of treatment in the aftermath of this devastating incident.
