Government Blocks Urmi’s Emigration

The government has banned the ex-commissioner (executive magistrate) Tapashee Urmi Tabasum Urmi from the Lalmonirhat district administration.   Urmi was fired earlier for controversial comments she made on Facebook regarding the chief adviser and a potential revolution. The senior secretary of the Security Service Department issued a letter on Monday directing her to take the necessary measures to figure out her emigration.   The circumstances resulted to her temporary suspension from her position, according to the letter. For her ID on social media, search for Assistant Secretary Tapashee Tabassum Urmi (former Assistant Commissioner for Lalmonirhat District Administration) on Facebook. Speaking out against the current administration is Tapashee Tabassum Urmi’s offensive behaviour. There are still actions being taken against him via the departmental system.   In this case, the letter asked the senior secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs to take necessary measures in the country’s residence of Tabassum Urmi.   Dr. Chief Advisor of the Interim Government Tapasi wrote on her Facebook page about Yunus, “Chief adviser of the constitutional-based interim government said the reset button was pushed. The past has been deleted. She has deleted all past history of the country by clicking on the reset button. That Easy! The countdown has begun, my great.” She has also given several statuses on behalf of the ousted government in the student-people coup.   She was then made Special Acting Officer (OSD) on October 6. The following day, she was suspended by the Public Administration Ministry.
