NCP’s chief organizer Hasnat Abdullah criticized BNP leader Rumin Farhana, calling her the “Awami League Affairs Secretary” of BNP. He claimed that Rumin enjoyed all benefits during Awami League’s rule. He also accused the Election Commission (EC) of being biased and acting like the office of a few parties while the police stood silent during attacks on NCP leaders.
Rumin Farhana Called ‘Awami League Affairs Secretary’
At a press conference on Sunday (August 24), Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer of the National Citizen’s Party (NCP), said:
“Rumin Farhana is the Awami League Affairs Secretary of BNP. She enjoyed all types of benefits during Awami League’s rule.”
He further added that Rumin Farhana often says she was fine for the last 15 years under Awami League. According to Hasnat:
“Of course, she was fine. Because she received every benefit that Awami League provided.”

Protest Against Attack on NCP Leaders
The press conference was organized to protest the attack on NCP leader Ataullah and other activists during the Election Commission’s hearing.
Hasnat said the Election Commission’s role was unfair and always questionable. He criticized the police for standing silently during the attack:
“We saw the police act as silent spectators. They stopped our leaders from entering, but BNP leaders were given free entry.”
Election Commission Accused of Bias
Hasnat Abdullah strongly alleged that the Election Commission had become biased towards certain political parties.
“The Election Commission has turned into the party office of a few parties,” he claimed.
