Authorities at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport have announced the temporary closure of the airport after a fire erupted in its cargo section. The fire led to an immediate suspension of all flight operations to ensure passenger safety.
According to officials, 36 units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence are currently working at the scene to bring the flames under control.

Airport authorities stated that the decision to suspend all flights was taken as a precautionary measure until the situation is fully under control.

So far, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage have not been determined.
Emergency teams remain on-site, and an investigation will be launched once the fire is extinguished.
