Asif Calls Himself Experienced in Swearing
Popular Bangladeshi singer Asif Akbar, also known as the “Prince of Bangla Music,” has said that he is very experienced in using swear words. He admitted that he even taught his sons swear words before anything else, as he believes swearing is important in Bangladesh.
Translation: “I am also quite good at swearing. I taught my sons swear words first because in Bangladesh swearing is necessary.”

Speaking on a Talk Show in New York
Asif made these comments while speaking on the special talk show Friday Night with Zayed Khan, broadcast by the New York–based Bangla media platform Thikana. During the interview, actor Zayed Khan asked him several personal questions.
Asif Akbar explained:
Translation: “I am a very organized person. People think I am hot-tempered, unruly, or crazy. But I am very organized. You will never find me late. If I say 8:30, it means exactly 8:30.”
On Mistakes and Public Judgment
Asif Akbar also spoke about how people often judge him without knowing him personally.
Translation: “Those who know me may understand me. But those who don’t know me speak by guessing, and speaking by guessing is a sin.”

He added that while he tries not to make mistakes, he admits to being human and corrects errors immediately.
Translation: “I try not to make mistakes. But as a human, it is not possible to be flawless… If I make a mistake, I correct it as quickly as possible. That’s what I do.”
Current U.S. Music Tour
Asif is now on a music tour in the United States after 17 years. He reached the U.S. on 28 August with his team The A Team and has been performing for Bangladeshi expatriates across the country.
