A United States–based Sikh organization, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has announced a reward of Tk 55 lacs for providing information that would help identify and arrest the killers of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha.
The Shikh Organization’s announcement was made in a statement issued by the organization on Monday.
The reward comes after the Dhaka Metropolitan Police stated that those involved in Hadi’s killing had fled Bangladesh and taken refuge in India.
SFJ said the attackers escaped to India immediately after committing the murder.

Allegations Against India
In the statement, SFJ’s General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun alleged involvement of the Indian government in the killing. Said,
Transition: “The Modi government of India is involved in the killing of Osman Hadi.”
He further described the murder as part of a broader pattern of cross-border terrorism:
“This killing was carried out as part of interstate terrorism operating across borders, from Bangladesh to the United States.”
Comparison With Nijjar Killing
Pannun also compared the nature of Hadi’s killing with the murder of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. He said,
Translation: “The pattern of Hadi’s killing bears similarities to the assassination of Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.”
Purpose of the Reward
According to SFJ, the reward aims to encourage the public to come forward with credible information. The organization said such information could help law enforcement agencies identify the killers’ whereabouts, arrest them, and initiate extradition processes.
SFJ also claimed that India’s intelligence agency RAW was involved in the killing and stressed the need for international accountability.
