Iran Arrests 2 Mossad Spies – What Were They Planning with 200 Kg of Explosives?

Arrests Made in Tehran Province

Iran has arrested two spies linked to Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad. The arrests took place in Tehran province. During the operation, the Iranian police found 200 kilograms of explosives, 23 drones, and other military equipment.

Police Spokesperson Gives Details

According to Saeed Montazer Al-Mahdi, the spokesperson for Iran’s police command, the two Mossad agents were caught in Fashafuyeh, a district in Rey County. The police found over 200 kg of explosives, drone parts, launchers, and other equipment. They also seized a Nissan pickup truck used by the suspects.

Arrests Came After Separate Operations

Iranian police said the two Mossad members were caught in separate operations. The report was shared by Iran’s state news agency, IRNA. These arrests show that foreign agents are still trying to carry out sabotage activities inside Iran.

Recent Israeli Attacks Sparked Tensions

On the night of June 13, Israel launched attacks inside Iran without any warning. Since then, Mossad agents have reportedly been trying to attack different locations using small drones.

More Mossad Agents Arrested Earlier

Earlier, on the same Sunday, two other Mossad agents were arrested in Savojbolagh County in Alborz province, which is near Tehran.

Iran Responds with Counterattacks

In response to the attacks, Iran has launched its own strikes inside Israel. The Iranian military used ballistic missiles and drones to target areas such as Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and other locations.
