Iran Responds to Israeli Attack with Over 100 Drones
Iran has launched a large drone attack on Israel. In the past few hours, Iran fired more than 100 drones towards different parts of Israel. This has been officially confirmed by Tel Aviv on Friday, 13 June.
Israeli Defence Forces Confirm the Attack
A spokesperson from the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that over 100 drones were sent by Iran. He also stated that Israel is actively using all its defence systems to stop these drones and protect the country.

Earlier: Israel Targeted Iran’s Nuclear Sites
Earlier on Friday morning, Israel carried out airstrikes on Iran, especially targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities in Tehran. This military operation by Israel was named “Rising Lion”.
Targets Included Iranian Commanders and Missile Bases
Israel’s attack focused on important Iranian military locations, including bases where missiles are kept and areas connected to top Iranian commanders. After this sudden attack, there were fears of a strong Iranian response.
Iran Declares State of Emergency
Because of these fears, Iran announced a state of emergency across the country. Security was increased in different cities in preparation for a possible counterattack from Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Releases Video Message
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a recorded video message. In the video, he said that Israel will continue its attacks on Iran for as long as necessary.
He added that Operation Rising Lion was carried out to fight back against the threat from Iran. Netanyahu also said,
“Iran has been threatening to destroy us for decades. As long as this danger exists, our operation will continue.”
