Iran Warns Trump: “Read Karbala Before You Threaten Us”

Iran has issued a strong message to former U.S. President Donald Trump through official military and government social media accounts. The message was posted on Iran Military’s Facebook and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, and it has gone viral online.

Symbolic Reference to Karbala

The message said:

“Mr. Donald Trump! If you don’t know who we are, read the history of Karbala.”

This statement refers to a historic and religious symbol of sacrifice in Iran’s culture. It shows how serious and strong Iran’s resistance can be.

Trump Warns People to Leave Tehran

Earlier, on Monday (June 16), Trump posted a warning on his social media platform Truth Social. He said:

“Everyone should immediately leave Tehran!”

However, he did not explain the reason behind this warning.

Trump Blames Iran Over Nuclear Deal

In the same post, Trump also said:

“Iran should have signed the deal I offered. What a shame and waste of human life. I’ve always said – Iran must never have nuclear weapons!”

This message from Trump seems to criticize Iran for not agreeing to a nuclear deal during his presidency.

Iran Responds Strongly

Experts believe Iran’s bold social media reply came as a direct response to Trump’s threatening statements. The back-and-forth messages have added more tension to the already growing conflict between Iran and Israel and are now affecting U.S.-Iran relations too.

Iranian Military Leaders Killed in Israeli Strike

Israel carried out an airstrike on Thursday, June 12, which killed a number of senior Iranian military officers. Those killed include:

  • Major General Mohammad Bagheri – Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces
  • Major General Hossein Salami – Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)
  • Six leading Iranian nuclear scientists
Iran Vows Revenge and Attacks Israel

After the Israeli attack, Iran promised strong revenge. In response, Iran launched its own attacks on Israel. Since then, both sides have been attacking each other continuously.
