The Detective Branch (DB) police in Dhaka’s Shahjalal Airport have detained Chinmoykrishna Das Brahmachari, the representative for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and the leader of Pundarik Dham in Chattogram. He was taken into custody at the airport on Monday afternoon. Rezaul Karim Mallik, the head of Dhaka Metropolitan DB Police, confirmed this information, stating that he was arrested around 5 PM. He mentioned that the arrest was made based on allegations but did not immediately disclose the specific charges against him. Currently, he is at the DB office.
