Body Found Under Rupsha Bridge
The lifeless body of journalist Wahed-Uz-Zaman Bulu, the Khulna correspondent of Dainik Protidiner Sangbad, was recovered from beneath the Khan Jahan Ali Bridge, popularly known as the Rupsha Bridge, in Khulna.
According to reports, the discovery was made around 9 pm on Sunday night (31 August) near the base of pillar number 2 of the bridge.

Eyewitness Accounts
Witnesses present at the scene said they saw Bulu jumping from the bridge. They immediately informed the local authorities after the incident took place.
Police Response
Sub-Inspector (SI) Rahim, in charge of the Labanchara Police Outpost, confirmed that police went to the spot as soon as they received the information from locals. Since the body was found in the water, the case was referred to the Rupsha River Police for further handling.
River Police Report
SI Bellah Hossain from the Rupsha River Police Outpost provided details of the recovery. At the time, Bulu was wearing navy blue gabardine pants and a sky-blue t-shirt. Police also noted injuries on his right hand and face.
Investigation Underway
Authorities are now conducting an investigation to find out the full details of the incident and the exact cause behind the journalist’s death.
