Chattogram Police Superintendent Saiful Islam Santu has urged people to remain united even after the political change of August 5. He warned that conspirators are still active, using money and artificial intelligence to spread lies and confusion. Speaking at a reception for families of July uprising heroes, Santu emphasized unity and courage.
SP Santu’s Strong Message to the People
During an event organized by the district administration in Chattogram on Tuesday (August 5), SP Saiful Islam Santu made a powerful statement about the current political situation in Bangladesh.
He said clearly:
“Those who played a role in the July uprising must remain united. Let the conspirators know—Apa (Sheikh Hasina) will not return.”

Conspiracies Are Still Ongoing
SP Santu explained that even after the fall of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, the plans of her supporters and foreign backers have not stopped. He warned the public to stay alert and resist any new attempts to divide the people.
“Their plans have not stopped after August 5. They have a lot of money and are trying to confuse us. They are using artificial intelligence to turn one group against another.”
Divide and Conquer: The Real Strategy
According to SP Santu, false information is being spread online as part of a cyber war to break internal unity. He said the only goal of these lies is to destroy the bond among those who fought for the country.
“The goal is only one—to break our unity from within. This is part of a cyber war, where false information is being used to confuse the public.”
A Call for Eternal Unity
SP Santu urged everyone not to misunderstand their fellow fighters. He reminded them that they stood together in the hardest times and should continue to do so.
“Never misunderstand your brothers. Those who fought shoulder to shoulder will stay united forever.”
Warning of Consequences if Unity Breaks
SP Santu made it clear that if the unity among people is broken, no one—including the administration—will be safe from the consequences.
“No one will be able to protect you.”
He continued:
“Along with you, we in the administration will also have to face the same fate.”
Unity is the Only Way to Protect the Country
SP Santu ended his speech by reminding the audience of the importance of protecting Bangladesh’s independence and sovereignty. He said unity is the key to defeating external threats.
“If you want to establish a free and sovereign state, and protect the country from foreign attacks, you must remain united.”
