Mahbub Al Hasan, a dedicated social activist from Kishoreganj, Bangladesh, has been nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize 2025, widely regarded as the “Children’s Nobel.”
The nomination recognizes his significant contributions to environment, climate action, education, and healthcare, reflecting his deep commitment to improving the lives of children in vulnerable communities.

About the Kids Rights Foundation

The KidsRights Foundation, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a child support and advocacy organization that annually nominates children from around the world who work to protect children’s rights for this prestigious award.

Education and Background

Mahbub completed his Dakhil in 2022 from Ahmad Zubaida Dakhil Madrasa and Alim in 2022 from Haybatnagar A.U. Kamil Madrasa. He is currently preparing for university admission exams. He is the son of Abdullah Al Hasan and Dilwara Khatoon, residents of Sholakia, Kishoreganj Sadar.

Social Initiatives: “The Change Bangladesh”

Over the past three years, Mahbub founded “The Change Bangladesh,” a social organization with a focus on:

  • Children’s healthcare
  • Climate change awareness
  • Education initiatives

Through this platform, he has undertaken various activities such as:

  • Tree planting and distributing saplings
  • Providing children with pencils, notebooks, and stationery
  • Raising awareness about climate change among children
  • Advocating for the educational rights of Haor region children

Healthcare Initiatives: “Blood Khuji (ব্লাড খুজি)”

Recognizing the difficulty in accessing blood for sick children, Mahbub created “Blood Khuji,” a platform that helps ensure the timely provision of blood to patients in need.
Through this initiative, he actively contributes to improving the quality of life and health of children in the Haor region.

Mahbub’s Vision

Speaking on his nomination, Mahbub Al Hasan said,

শিশুরাই আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ, ভবিষ্যতকে বাঁচাতে আমাদের সবাইকে একসাথে কাজ করে যেতে হবে।
Translation: “Children are our future; to save the future, we all must work together.”
