A road accident involving five vehicles happened near the Padma Bridge toll plaza in Louhajang, Munshiganj on Friday morning around 11 AM.
At least 15 people were injured in the crash.
According to local people, the accident started when a Mawa-bound Imad Paribahan bus coming from Dhaka suddenly lost its brakes near the toll plaza.
As a result, the bus crashed into several other vehicles, including:

An Ilish Paribahan bus

A Gosairhat Express bus

A private car
-
A jeep
The collision caused injuries to 15 people, though no deaths were reported at the time.

Police Statement
Abdul Quader Jilani, the Officer-in-Charge of Hasara Highway Police, confirmed the incident.
He said that the situation was quickly brought under control and that traffic on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway has returned to normal.
