Gazi Mohaimin Iqbal is a student of Chittagong University, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In February 2025, he joined Meta as a software engineer.
Mohaimin Iqbal grew up in Chittagong. He finished his college life at English Cantonment School and College, Chittagong. After completing college life, he did get a chance at Chittagong University, in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He completed his honors in 2022. After that, for about a year and a half, he worked at Optimizely.
In 2023, Mohaimin Iqbal moved to the USA to do his master’s at San Jose State University. He said that his mother had a complete plan to pursue a master’s degree.
Obtain an internship at Snowflake in May 2023. His dreams come true after he gets an internship opportunity at Snowflake. He said things started like magic as Snowflake’s name was on his CV.
After that, he started to notice CV in big companies.In October, full-time job offers from Microsoft and from Meta in November.
Gazi Mohaimin Iqbal joined Meta in February this year.He gives some advice for the younger generation, who see tech companies as a dream: they must practice in more programming contests, have good communication skills in English, and have problem-solving skills.
Most of the people consider higher CGTA to be necessary for multinational companies. But Mohaimin Iqbal said big companies don’t look at CG, but they look at skills and problem-solving ability. But CG can’t be ignored; both CG and skill are ambiguous.
He also said, Mother always says one thing. Opportunity comes to all, but only the prepared ones can make use of them.
