3 Students and 2 Parents Yet to Be Found
Milestone School and College has confirmed that five individuals are still missing following the recent tragic plane crash in Dhaka. These include three students and two parents.
The school authority shared this information in a press release issued on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Death Toll and Injured List Confirmed
According to the statement, 18 school students, 2 teachers, and 2 parents have died in the incident. A total of 51 people were seriously injured, including:

The school authority added that the list is still being updated as more information becomes available.

The Incident Happened After School Was Dismissed
The crash occurred shortly after school hours. According to the school’s official statement:
“বেলা ১টায় স্কুল ছুটি হয়ে যাওয়ায় তখন অভিভাবকদের জন্য কিছু সংখ্যক শিক্ষার্থী অপেক্ষায় ছিল। ওই সময়ে মর্মান্তিক দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটে।”
“As the school had ended at 1 PM, some students were waiting for their parents. The tragic incident happened during that time.”
School Mourns the Loss
The authority expressed deep sorrow for the lives lost:
“আমরা অত্যন্ত ভারাক্রান্ত হৃদয়ে জানাচ্ছি, এই মর্মান্তিক দুর্ঘটনায় আমাদের স্কুল শাখার ১৮ জন শিক্ষার্থী, ২ জন শিক্ষক, ২ জন অভিভাবক মারা গেছেন।”
“With a very heavy heart, we announce that 18 students, 2 teachers, and 2 parents from our school have died in this tragic accident.”
Rescue and Identification Efforts Continue
The school emphasized that data collection and rescue coordination are ongoing, and the public will be informed of any further updates. They also thanked all emergency personnel involved in rescue efforts.
